Web of Nevada was founded by Shawn Horton, a mining engineer by education but a technology geek by passion. With years of helping small businesses and non-profit organizations with their simple and effective web presence, Shawn finally decided to move from scattered dedicated servers to a full cabinet of servers to provide even more services. Shawn has never forgotten his roots growing up and living in small towns and is dedicated to bringing more technology to small business and giving them options that won't trap their data and work in a technology stack that can't easily be moved somewhere else as the business grows. Too often, businesses take their web presence to the big name companies that advertise on the radio, only to find out that they can't move away to something better without starting over, that won't happen with Web of Nevada.
Shawn's volunteer passion is helping Veterans through The American Legion by being an active member of the Sons of The American Legion and he currently hosts a number of American Legion Post websites at no cost and will continue to do so.
